The company is hiringといったら、その会社の景気がいいこと。ちなみに、スタンフォードのビジネススクールの卒業生メーリングリストで、週に一回求人情報がやってくる。それによれば、現在ビジネススクールの卒業生向けJobデータベースに入っている情報はこんな感じ。

結構活発に採用活動が行われていることがわかる。なお、このメーリングリストで、９・１１の2週間後に「エキサイティングで知的な海外スパイ活動」てなキャッチフレーズでCIAの募集があって笑えた。（CIAのすばやさに感動もした）

ちなみに、ご参考まで今週のNew　Postingは下記のようなところ。こういうのを時々ざっと眺めて、
「ふむふむ、やはりeBay, Microsoftあたりは盛んに雇用しているな。」とか
「Dealixといえば、私のオフィスの裏にあるちいさな会社だが、何か動きがあるようだな」とか、なんとなく景気動向を伺う。詳しい情報は卒業生だけがアクセスできるサイトでパスワードを入れるとでてくるようになっている。

ビジネススクールはこうして卒業後もいろいろ(一応)面倒を見てくれる。莫大な学費を取るのだから当たり前といえば当たり前だが、学校がビジネスライクにきちんと運営されているのは、見ていて結構心がすっきりする。
